| Ventriloquism and Magic |
A little something about myself and my interest in magic. I cannot remember a time
when I was not fascinated with magic. Most kids are typically exposed to a magician
at a school assembly program or a birthday party. I do not recall being influanced in
that way at all. I recall going to a magic shop with my mother when she was looking
for some clowning items for a birthday party. She wanted one of my brothers to
perhaps do some clowning, well that didn't come to fruition but it instilled a bug in me
that has never gone away. Magic offers so much to so many in as much as it allows
them an escape and to be child-like again with a sense of wonder and awe. The
lookon a face when they seesomehting that defies the norms and amazes the
senses is priceless. I do not perform really but do enjoy doing the occaisional trick
for people. My main interest is Ventriloquism. I enjoy the reaction from people when
they see the puppet or figure talking to them, and when they are looking at the
puppet during the conversation and not at the ventriloquist. The puppet is a real
person/thing to them at that moment in time. I guess this takes alot of us back to our
youth and the enjoyment we had watching the Muppets or perhaps Sesame Street.
NOTE May 19th- I have been writing a more detailed Bio that will be updated as
soon as I am done writing. =)

| Andersonville Elementary School Festival day 2007 |
Buster and the gang spent Friday
may 11th at Andersonville
participating in Festival day. We
did 5 lectures on Ventriloquism.
We handed out free peeper
puppets to everyone and a booklet
explaining how they can do
Ventriloquism. Buster is not in the
pictures of the set up since he was
in his case waiting to come out
later to talk to the kids. It was a
good time and I hope it helped
some to better understand WHAT
Ventriloquism is and others to
understand its an illusion and that
puppets are not to be feared. =)
Axtell Expressions were very kind
to provide catalogs and DVDs for
the school and We also dontated
several books on Ventriloquism to
the school library. A great
experiece for the gang and I.

coordinator to add =)
